I found an old clip I made for members on another forum and I decided to share it with you too.

Sequence: clean bass, Boss ODB-3, MXR M80, T.C. Electronic Vintage Bass Distortion

    Equipment used:
    - Bass guitar: Aria Pro II Precise, '77 jazz bass clone. EMG active P/ups, EMG BTC active electronics, DR Sunbeams (45-105, 2 months old)
    - Amp: Markbass Little Mark II
    - Cabinets: Genz-Benz NeoX112T on top of handmade 1x15"
    - Recorded with Zoom H4n (60cm stand, 2m from amp)

    Pedals demo

There you go, I hope you will find it useful.

Great clips. The ODB sounds good. But isn't the Precise bass a P copy?

  6. Nice playing. Of the three, I vastly prefer the ODB-3.

Yes, ODB-3 can sound great, but not all settings yield the same results. I think I used the following settings:
    - level: 12 (not that it matters, but still.. :) )
    - low: 12:30
    - high: 11:30
    - balance: 9
    - gain: 10 - 10:30 - this varies, depending of the output of your bass

I sold the TC and MXR and the ODB-3 stayed. Go figure.. I know that this pedal gets a lot of hate, but you could say the same for any pedal that is being used in context it wasn't meant to be used in. I know I love mine. And it works wonderfully after the synths.. :)

I have another clip with Green Rhino. In this clip I used it with some gentle chorus.. It sounds killer

:) no problem. "Precise" isn't the best way to name a jazz bass :D

Nice one, they all sound good. What settings did you use on the MXR M80 ?
