What "no longer in production" amps and cabs do you all wish would return to the bass community?
The Trace Elliot V series of tube heads. Especially the V8!
Loved that pre-amp!
Trace V-type for sure and Eden VT series (the one with demeter preamp in it).
Trace Elliot V-types (all of 'em) -- V4, 6, 8, and the hybrids V300H, V600H.
I would hope the TE would put the hybrids in a smaller box 'cause they certainly don't need to be so big.
Heck, bring all that Trace tube goodness back!
It would be great if the new Matchless company would reissue the old Matchless bass amps (Thunderchief and Thunderman). Then I wouldn't be so paranoid to take my Thunderman out of the studio.
TE V-type tube amps and the Quadra and Hexas
Berg NV610s, and made availible in the UK more easily !
Vox T-60. Love that little combo.
Its not an amp, but the Rane DC24 dynamics controllers were awesome. I just scored one from greenboy here on TB, and man... I still can't figure out why on earth they discontinued them.
The original Musicman hybrid heads were awesome.
I am pretty fond of the AMP420/Gibson 440 amps. Especially the gibson, being a little lighter on the arms.
I know, the Tfunk is the incarnation. Perhaps, but the extra tweeks and semicustom nature result in a 100+% increase in price.
NO experience with the Trace gear, but it seems to have QUITE a following.
a 2x15 combo. That crazy Vox with 18" speakers, Sunn 200S, Ampeg B15S, Ampeg BT140.
Best of Luck,
Sunn Model T
Mesa/Boogie D-180. Even though I(finally ) have one, I'd love to have a brand-spankin' new one. Maybe throw in a usable onboard DI.
i think it would be cool to see the Berg NV series back in production.
my brother bought this amp last year, nice amp!
The Bergantino NV610
Acoustics bass amps
I want a 370 stack.
