Distortion pedal with clean mix

    Hi-

    I am looking for a distortion pedal that will allow me to mix in a clean signal. What pedals will do that?

    it looks like you have a pretty good rig - don't you have an effects loop that lets you blend clean with affected signal?

    The effects loop in the Kern is straight serial. This is a small concession. I like to put the distortion before the pre-amp anyway.

    is based on a tubescreamer (TS808) and has a control that lets you blend the unaffected signal from totally effected to totally clean. Its also true bypass and about the 100 mark (£ or $)

    The ODB-3 does not blend a truly clean signal... its suppose to let you but it definetly does not do a very good job of it. Buy this unit if you want strait up heavy fuzz only.

    You can blend any effect signal with a clean signal with a Boss LS-2.

    However, I prefer an overdrive that kicks in when I dig in and cleans up with a lighter attack.
