Where is a good source for the hardware to build yer own Cabs.
like the ball corners and metal trim you see on the RR boogie cabs..

    What finishes work well?

I used Steel sound above for plastic corners.
They have recently dropped a lot of products that I liked.
EDIT: I receved an email from them that they were only TOS on some items for 2 weeks, so they werent listed on
the site. I particularly wanted the 1/4" locking jack. It fits
nicely in a 13/64" hole in 3/4" cab material, with no cup
needed. A red sliding pin locks the plug in so it won't
disconnect under fire. I also bought a dandy Mic boom stand
made in China for 14.99, same one locally in store is 49.99

    I also used
    for some odd sized ports

www.tchweb.com ( Formerly Umbra ), this is a good site.
They have plastic corner molding, good strap handles , L-pad
mounting cups, they will also fold custom metal grills for you
to order. The also have metal edging and a variety of handles, dolly handles etc.

    I have used
for stuff like rubber feet, acoustic foam, l-pads, mounting cups, caps, inductors, T-nuts and so forth.

Also check US Speaker for odds and ends.

    Happy building.
