DIY Wood Finishing gone wild?

    I just a saw beautiful old 69 bass body that reminded me of these types of finishing videos.. I'm not into vintaging an instrument.. but an aged stain is a great look.. this is chemical staining I'm giving examples.. add more videos you find.. and enjoy..

    Aloha, ..Or., not nearly as tropical as it sounds!
    I just read that thread too. Thanks for starting this one. I hope more people chime in. Maybe it should be in the luthiers corner though. I've been thinking about doing something like that guys bass in the other thread for quite awhile. Anyway, thanks.

    that bass was bad ass prolly an alder bass.. the aging made it pretty blue
