haha I got the hand-drum bug....

been playing in a couple of drum circles... It's time to get my own drum.. the problem is cost..

I'm really digging the Toca ones.. fairly affordable, and still pretty traditional. he Remo ones are good and all.. but the synthetic head feels odd to me, now that I've played a real head a few times.

I'm looking to spend less than $150 for a 12-13" drum..

Anyone know of any other sources and or brands?

ok.. so I actually got one *L*

I got it off of www.motherrhythm.com

    I got a 9" l'il guy, with some sweet deep-carved tribal work..

The bass is pretty non-existent, but hey.. it is only 9" in diamter.. It's got a great, sharp attack on the edges, tho.. I <3 it..

'twas only $79 and that included a pretty sweet bag. I'll post some pics when I get around to it.
