This is a video someone sent me a link to. I don't know whether to be entertained or just shake my head over this one.
Not sure exactly where this thread might belong (technique?) but I thought I'd share it here first. Feel free to move it.
I bet Krappy could make and sell these!

    You mean like this?

I was thinking of getting a similar Krappy. Just as a goof. Now I don't have to.

I'm entertained by it because he's not at all serious.

When this heavy troglodyte metal stuff hit a few years back, I was reminded of Eugene Chandbourne and his electric rake:

Jared has a whole bunch o' videos and they are generally hilarious. And he can play guitar (and bass and drums!).
Worth an afternoon browsing and watching.

    Home Depot has you covered

That one's extra-extra-super-extra long scale (50') so should still be nice and tight tuned three octaves down, ~.01623Hz

Well, here's my version... Darkness Cyclops. One big ol Kalium String, Precision pickup "scooted" together, and a big ol reptilian eye that glows and changes color. I had to do it!~

Y'know, this is the sort of thing I normally am not a fan of. Yours is definitely an exception to the rule. That thing is fantastic. Never thought of doing an instrument in rhino coat but I am inspired by yours to do so. Great work.

    Neat idea.

Though I'm slightly disappointed this has nothing to do with Cyclops from X-Men.
