Do Chi Sonics have blade magnets?

    With all my searching, I can't seem to find out what kind of magnets Lakland/Hanson Chi Sonic pickups use. Blades? Traditional double poles? Big single poles?

    Also, are they true single coil or in-line humbucking?

    Any opinions on the single coil versions vs the larger humbuckers?

    Welcome to Hanson Pickups!

    They use Neodymium magnets, but not too much other technical info on that page. I have a single-coil here that I have yet to use; inspecting the underside, it looks like a bar magnet underneath, so there must be either ferrous slugs or a ferrous blade within the coil itself.
