Do I need an Amp Head to record?

    Hello family. Hope all my brother and sisters are well these days. I am recording a song into logic. I don’t have the greatest of heads to go through. Do I need a quality head? Or thoughts on logic plugin heads. Or other brand plugin heads. Thanks. My bass is active.

    You don't need an amp. Assuming your audio interface has a DI or Instrument input, just plug your bass directly into that.
