You bet, when i have the time! Half price beats the absurd NY prices of adult beverages. Do you?

I don't drink alcohol, but my wife and I hit up our local Red Robin Happy Hour for half price appetizers.

Thats cool, around here the happy hour does not include food.

  4. I probably would, but I'm not 21 yet. It kinda sucks when all of your co-workers go, and you have to sit it out.

Nope. If I'm out, I'm probably driving. If I'm driving, I don't drink.

OTOH I'll probably have a couple of beers when I go out of town on business soon. Just being sociable... I can take it or leave it.

How come when you go to happy hour, everyone in there looks miserable?

For a while my friend and I were attending happy hour at 12:30 at this place on university and 8th, across the st from classes.

We put a stop to that.

But you can't beat 5 dollar pitchers, not when they go up to 11-17 depending on where you go after 7.

Beer is cheaper anywhere that isn't NYC

  14. they outlawed happy hours in glasgow :(

Self control. I have a mental image of myself when I was out of shape, so everytime I want to ask for more fries, I think about myself from those days. I quickly change my mind and ask for more water.

Trips to Red Robin are my weekly splurge when I go off my normal eating habits to treat myself for doing so well the rest of the week.

I wish I had control. Red Robin fries are the bomb..... cholesterol bomb that is. :D They are great, though and can never get enough. I come from philosophy of "don't put yourself in the position to #### up and you probably won't"..... If I were to go there, I would end up eating like the big fat pigs, Thor, draG or Jive1... :D

As to the happy hour, if I were to drink, I would probably start smoking again... I have no self control...

More power to you, brotha' and I do envy your strength! :)

    3rd stone from the sun
$2 microbrewed pints and free raw oysters. Yummy.

Yes, those fries are very good. The fact that you can have as many as you want is awesome.

The self control was difficult to master, and even more challenging to maintain. Mind over matter is all it is. If you truly want to look and be healthy, then no french fry is going to change that. :D
