Do you crack your nuckles?

    from my own experience i can play a lot better if I crack my nuckles. But Ive also herd that it's better not good if you crack you knuckles what do you do?

    I voted "yes and it helps," but that's only if you're a knuckle cracker to begin with.

    No way, man. I knew this guy one time whose cousin cracked his knuckles, and they were as big as golf balls.

    BTW, does it help what?

    Makes no difference to me, it's just something I randomly do.

    I also crack my neck.

    And it doesn't give you arthritis.

    After the first few minutes of bass-playing in any given session, my knuckles on both hands can always use a good cracking. It doesn't actually aid my bass playing, however.

    Also, I'll restate the modern medical belief that cracking your knuckles does not cause arthritis.

    I just crack them. Its like a habit now. I also crack my neck, elbows, toes, sometimes out of my knees, back....dunno what else.

    i have a horrible habbit of cracking my knuckles and other joints, i think i picked it up from my mother

    i never really noticed it aid my bass playing

    I crack mine, but not as often as I did when I was younger.

    But sometimes, they are just so tight, that I have to crack them. Otherwise my fingers are very stiff.

    Crack them like it's going on out of style. That is the best stress relief I have found.
