  3. Love it.

  4. Recently and IHOP opened near me, but the service is terrible. I love IHOP, just not the one near me.

Frankly, I am not a fan of IHOP. Their menu contains mostly high fat, high sodium and meat-based items. They do have a veggie burger, but it is so gross and the roll is made of highly refined white grain.

I eat a plant-based diet and can find so little on the IHOP menu that I cannot leave there feeling I have had a satisfying meal.

They need to do some tweaking of their menu to offer some healthier choices. Do I think they will improve their menu to meet my standards? No. Their restaurants are quite successful without my presence. They don't need or want the likes of me.

overpriced & too "fast food" quality IMO

Give me a real diner anyday. I pass 3 killer diners on the way to the local IHOP... we make it to IHOP maybe every 3rd year and always walk away angry for poor service, sub par food, oversized check.

chocolate pancakes are a great idea.

...maybe not for the arteries, though.

  8. Yeah, so what's your point?! The three basic food groups :D

I could eat breakfast for every meal. Although I could just imagine the looks of my arteries if I did.

  9. anyone ever see louis black do his stand up routine about ihop
its quite funny as he explains how it is his healthclub because it makes him feel good since there is always someone there who weight 200 pounds more than he ever will

    I would agree with that.

  14. Woot. Same here.

I still enjoy IHOP though, I must say. It's the best 2 a.m. place to eat, I've found.

  15. Amen to that. Everyone seems to go there in the middle of the night.

I actually went to IHOP the first time on Thursday. Eh..mixed emotions about it. I got my potato pancakes, which I haven't eaten anywhere in years, but paying $18 for breakfast (the pancakes, hashbrowns, oj and french toast) doesn't sit well with me. I'm more of a "2 eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, pancakes, all for a buck fifty" type of guy *lol* :)

No, two. I got potato pancakes and hashbrowns (I was in a potato mood for some reason), and my other half got french toast, and we got a large and small OJ.

  20. can't see how you couldn't
