Here is my '72 Jazz. I bought it with a rough refin and EMGs in it back in the 90s. I had it refinished Fiesta and put in Duncan stacked humbuckers. I didn't waffle on the color at all, I knew I wanted Fiesta Red! It is heavy, but it totally crushes.

Thats probably why he took the volume/tone knobs off. Weight reduction.

I've never been a big fan of red basses, but the fiesta red with tort pick guard looks fantastic!

Ha! One of the pot posts is broken. Not a huge deal since the electronics aren't original anyway. I'll replace all the pots at some point, but this isn't a regularly gigged bass due to its weight and my preference for precisions...

Usually you just click on the "Upload a File" button, choose your file from the pop-up file browser window and then add it to the post as a thumbnail or full size image. What file type is your picture?

I have an Am Pro in the shoppe getting refinished in Fiesta Red and the neck getting a vintage tint. Give me a week and I'll post it here. :)
  13. OK, three crummy photos of my long since sold 1988 62RI Jazz. It was chunkier and heavier than my 83 62RI Jazz, so I eventually sold it (I was also broke, so.....). Wish I had held onto it.

All pictures from 1993/94. First two pics w/ my band. Our drummer has left his kit and is singing - not sure if somebody was playing for him - it was a "goodbye house" party blow out as we were moving out of that house (he and I both lived there with some others), and there was a lot of alcohol involved.

Next pic is at the house we moved to. The green on the control plate was just a decal. I think at some point I had covered the pic guard in that color as well. :rollno:

Everyone was so much thinner in the 80s. Even the fat people.
