Do You Own Robin Trower Bridge Of Sighs?

This was one of those essential albums for musicians when it came out and my band learned Day Of The Eagle.

Our band is doing Too Rolling Stoned and it straight ROCKS. I have tickets to see him in October. Hopefully he can still rock at his age...but yes, his music is awesome.

  3. Great song. Had to learn it for a band I played with for a little while. Bought the album. Day Of The Eagle was the highlight for me.

Great song too. Luckily that style of music is my guitar player's forte and the drummer likes his stuff a lot. It definitely comes to life.

Got to opened for Trower a couple of times back in the 90's. The man has tone. B o S blaring from your car was an essential in high school.

    ...actually, I do not.
In my HS garage band, the guitarist did...so it was played a lot around me. Always dug the cover.
We did play (or tried) "Too Long Rolling Stoned" (long version)...I recall a couple of girls dancing in front of me giving me that 'Hasn't this song gone on way too long' look.

BTW, any members of Amazon Prime can now stuff Bridge Of Sighs in their Cloud Player...for 'free'.
Amazon just enabled "Prime Music" (some cool things are 'free'...though I cannot access the 'free' albums via Sonos or Roku).
  12. I've got the vinyl. Great album.

    see Burn Notice
At 22, I moved from Kansas to Phoenix,Az.Had never been to the SW....Drove by myself all the way.About midnight,on the highway next to Sedona.Red cliffs on the right, visible only in the headlights.Light snow falling....Just then the mix-tape I got playing gets to the best of Bridge Of Sighs.Starting with the title song....Every bit of that drive down into the desert below, listening to this music,is a magical memory in my life.
