By popular you own Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life?

Released in 1976, Stevie Wonder's magnum opus. Considered by many to be one of the greatest albums of all time. It has perhaps one of the coolest instrumental breaks of all time in Sir Duke. Whippersnappers listening to the album might accuse Stevie of plagiarizing Coolio. :p

I own this one in mp3 format...never bought the CD. Stevie has a huge catalog and when it came time to buy a CD, I went with a greatest hits. There's no denying that Songs in the Key of Life is a great album but I suspect ownership in on the lower end of the spectrum. I'll estimate 63%.
  2. Own it. After setting the table with "Talking Book," "Innervisions" and "FFF," he cleared the bases with "Key o'Life." Touch 'em all, Stevie.

("Sir Duke" is probably my least favorite song on the album, FWIW. Great, but to my ears overplayed.)

Bought it when it first came out on vinyl it's still hard to imagine all of that creativity in one release.

I own it and I love it. Was the first Stevie's album I bought. Before this album all I knew about him was his 80's hits songs.

Oh yeah! I remember buying the vinyl back when it came out around the same time as Weather Report's 'Black Market' and Joni Mitchell's 'Hejira' albums. A great year for music!
