I'm trying to find out if more people play a pbass or a jazz bass
I'd like to vote both and neither.
I have 2 Jazz & 1 Precision...but these days it's all Afterburner.
I misread the poll. I thought you were talking about pickup configuration because of the P/J combo. Change my vote to neither.
Are you asking if peaople have a bass with p and j pickups, or a p bass and a jazz bass?
I voted neither. I have a MM and a PJ.
J's currently (Lull Js to be precise) though I'd like to get a Lull P/J combo eventually:
My go-to bass is my heavily modified MIJ '75 Reissue Jazz.
If you classify soapbars as a Jazz configuration then yes, otherwise neither
I own the following Fender American Deluxe Precision V:
Although I selected P/J Combo, it is truly a P/H combo. The bass offers a lot of tonal variety for different styles of music and playing techniques.
A p/j is a bass like the american pbass that has both a p and j pick up if you are one of the peapole that have both a p and jazz click the both button
I play both. I use my Jazz more than my Precision.
P-Bass all the way.
I rarely play my jazz any more.
Neither here, but i prefer a jazz if i had to choose.
100% P bass for me.
I have both but the J is my "A" bass and the P (a Mike Dirnt) is my back up. Although, I'll use the P for songs that call for its lower throat.
That P/J-H is awesome, how much did you get it for
No Fenders, either.
I voted both.
My (only) 2 basses are:-
2004 USA Dlx Jazz 5: Rotosound 77 Jazz flats .
Mid / late 1970s unlined fretless Precision: TI Jazz Flats.
Brand new for $1,249.99, shipping included.
