    or do you think it does not? I always see guys with long hair headbang, oh and the occasional bald guy. Do you think it just looks stupid with short hair? or is there a way to do it? This question always puzzles me since two of my friends seem to do it but I'd just feel like I'd look a moron trying in front of them. Of course this isn't when performing, do you think at a performance it fits better?

    I have long hair, like metal, but I rarely headbang. Some people with short hair can headbang well. From my own experience, it is a lot easier to headbang with long hair. Less effort is needed to make it look cool.

    Short haired people headbanging usually look like tools. It just doesn't work.

    I'm trying to grow my hair long just so I can headbang. I think short haired headbanging just looks dumb, but its better than no headbanging at all I guess.

    I voted occasional exceptions thinking the hair doesn't matter if you are performing.

    If you headbang well, you headbang well. Hair length shouldn't matter.

    Way back in the day, I played in a super-fast hardcore band, and I slamdanced at shows. I didn't have a mohawk or buzzcut, either.

    I know this sounds funny, but do we take cultural considerations in account? If not, then I guess some are saying 95% of African Americans shouldnt headbang.

    Are you trying to cause a ****ing problem I mean what the hell, I simply asked if it took long hair to do it, your the one who is stating this crap, how do you take that into cultural consideration is beyond me . And there are plenty of African Americans I see with long hair, what the hell are you talking about?


    Get out of my ****ing thread please :) it's people like you who say that garbage who start racial issues, I'm simply asking a question if it takes long hair or not.

    I have long hair but I rarely headbang. It depends really what band I'm seeing. My head is going to fall off my body at the Maiden concert next year.
