Who else uses these and how? I can use it to get a fast-wah like sound. With insane distortion I can get "monster roars" out of my scrapes. Yeah I know its a strange way to play, but I'm always looking for new tones and sounds. I have also been known to use my afro-pick on my bass :smug: .

    So what about everyone else?

I dont think I do anything to avant garde in my playing, aside from a few variations of aggresive fingerstyle.

When I was a kid though "double slapping" was my secret weapon. Where you slap with your thumb and alternate to your pinky, creating a super fast rattly noise. I rattled through more gigs than I'd like to admit before I got my fingerstyle fast enough to play stuff like Fear Factory.
