I generally do because my shoes really dont seem to go back to normal after wearing them without socks for a whille.

I barely wear socks at all. My Tevas have lasted me 6 years of heavy usage. Unless I'm going for a night hike or I'm going to be playing sports, I typically just use them over shoes, more convenient.

    edit: no more shoe avatar

I rarely ever wear socks in the late spring/summer/early fall. Winter is a bit unforgiving in Wisconsin so socks are a must then.

i find socks look pretty dirty with loafers or boat shoes, especially with shorts, my problem is my feet seem to blister really easily! so I'm more or less forced to wear socks, now I started wearing those girly man socks that you can't tell you're actually wearing...they are like shoe liners kinda... looks like you are barefoot.

I wear flip-flops as much as the weather allows, which is a large part of the year in Texas. I have to wear socks for certain occasions and activities of course...such as showering. eating yogurt, etc...

I love socks, I use the ones that end below the ankle, but I lose about one a week.

I think you know very well that wearing socks while eating yogurt is totally unacceptable in high society. Talk about a fashion disaster. One should expect no less than a half pound of swiss cheese that's been sitting out for no less than 24 hours while wearing socks.

Yea. I only wear sneakers unless I'm at home, and then I take them off. Either way I've always got socks on.

    Shoes and socks everyday.

Sandals are for hippies, even if they are made of fancy materials and designed by sneaker company rejects.

At home I mostly walk around barefooted, otherwise shoes and socks, although I've been riding my bike too without any shoes or socks..

it all depends on the shoes.

once a pair of sneakers are used, i go sockless bedcause it doesnt matter if i stink up ****ty shoes.

i have brand new new balances on right now, and i got really low nb socks with it, so they are ok. i hate socks that go higher then the top of the sneaker.

    sandles-no
    hiking boots/trail sneakers-yes
boat shoes(summer dress shoe)-no(only if i'm wearing shorts)
    vans slip ons-hell no
