  1. so you post something on TB and someone comments in a negative way or disagrees with what you are saying, does that effect you in any way?

I disagree with this tread and think it was a bad idea.

How does that make you feel?

That was inappropriate to point out someone's keyboarding deficiencies like that. I'm offended.

Yeah, that's what I've been trying to say over in the inappropriate jokes tread. Thread, sorry.

We should all be concentrating on discussing things like Jazz vs Precision, flats vs rounds, Ampeg vs the world and other important issues! That way no ones feelings get hurt.
    Oh, wait...

pfff with all the goofy stuff that I post? pleaase.. Caring about what other people think would be a full time job :)

But yeah I know what you're saying, and no it does not bother me if someone disagrees with me or comments negatively. It only bothers me if it's done in a really snide and/or nasty way, which has happened.

Man, you're stupid. How could you even think that? You're obviously a s***** bassist who probably plays with a pick.

  13. I don't really make threads that people can disagree with now that I think about it... Usually I just say something silly because I don't generally draw lines in the sand on most things. Well, besides jazz basses being the best basses ever.

Yes, but my pick is 4" of solid meteoric iron. Which IS actually best for metal.

Jazz basses look the best. But we all know P basses actually better. and if you disagree..., aww crap what was it that I said in that last thread? I cant remember

Why would anyone disagree with that?
  16. Because they're second best. After P basses of course.

Wait, wasn't this thread originally about negative reactions to a thread?

P basses are about as useful as slapping...

J is the way to play
  18. > Is biased because his first bass was a Precision.
And hasn't played many Jazzes aside from a friend's SX.

My first was a P too, then I gambled on a Carvin B40 and have completely converted to Jazz-inism.
