Terribly. My hands shake constantly... very unstable, but they work fine.
  7. My hands constantly shake, except when I play bass. It's weird.

I've noticed that my hand will shake a little if I'm using a utensil to lift food carefully to my mouth (soup, usually). That worried me (middle-aged palsy??) until I saw this thread!

A guitar player of mine had that. He went to a neurologist and had it diagnosed as "essential tremors." In his case, it was a benign problem, and we used to joke with him that it assisted his vibrato.

If you notice it over an extended period of time, you should consult a doctor to make sure that it's not anything more serious. Tremors are most often nonexistent to minimal medical problems, but you want to rule out anything more than that.

My hands never STOP shaking, except when firmly anchored to something, like a bass. Been that way as long as I can remember, and didn't think it was odd until I was in my teens and fellow bandmates noticed.
