So i dabble in playing guitar a bit, and like to learn songs to sing. For some reason when i learn a song not intended to be sung for my girlfriend she gets kinda pissed, its like she expects just because im a musician she is going to get serenaded all the time. For example, i just wanted to ask my girlfriend for an opinion on how a song im learning sounds (Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want by The Smiths". She asks "is it for me"... i say no. and she gets bent outa shape. Sheesh, women....

Learn Raining Blood on acoustic, put some new lyrics to it and see if she wants it.

Is she a drama queen regarding other things?

My definition of a drama queen/king is a person who creates drama where none need exist for no apparent reason other than to create emotional havoc and problems where no reasonable solution will be accepted and no logical solution will be offered.

    Your girlfriend is pretty immature.

She sounds needy - not to say that her needs are not real. The question is whether or not you can or want to provide for those needs, or if it's just a PITA for you. If it's just a PITA for ya, maybe you need to just let her go. If not, then why aren't you serenading her?

Is that real ? Does she have hobbies or activities outside of you ?

Sounds like major immaturity issues. Not good....especially for long-term prospects. It gets old REALLY fast.

+1 to the raining blood thing:D

And I'm the kinda guy who would learn a song for a girl, but not like that, if she were to nag about it.

If that ever happened I would just learn some death metal song and play it:p

next time she complains, just say "ok, this one's for you then" and sing the "chorus" from "Nugget" by Cake.

  17. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER date or marry a woman without hobbies.

You will be come her hobby and all of your will disappear.

    This is a sad truth.

    Awesome song!

You have 2 options in this situation btw...

1)Respond "Every song is for you baby." *removes strap...removes pants...attacks woman*

OR (and the right choice is important here)

    2)Keep a calendar/Your distance
