Doc's ProPlugs: Vented or non vented

    I'm after a set of Doc's ProPlugs, I have some other plugs with the stalks coming out of them, but they do look rather silly on stage. (And yes you can see them).

    Should I go for the vented or non-vented. The vented ones att the more harmful high frequencies, ideal for band situations, as these are the freq that cause ear fatigue, and tinitus.
    Tho the non-vented att over the whole spectrum, giving a more even response, but would I hear my bass as clearly? And does long term exposure to the kind of frequencies bass guitars produce do any serious damage?

    Anyone use them, which one?
