Hey everyone, I've been producing a documentary series on the ins and outs of being a bass player. The series starts off with a mild-mannered bass player, just playing local and regional gigs trying to break into the industry. Eventually, hard work and persistence pays off, with bigger gigs, successful tours and positive acclaim leading the bass player (and band) into a life you read about in the magazines. But, the glitz and glam has its price. Drugs and partying start to take their toll, and the debauchery leads to tensions in the group's band and personal lives. At their lowest point, they realize their small beginnings, the highs they hit and the crushing defeats they face. They begin to gain perspective on their music, their lives and what it means to be an artist. What started out as a humble path to stardom turns into a heartwarming story of redemption. Driving is like 80% of what we do haha! Having a good group of people matters when you spend a lot of time in a cramped vehicle together.
