I've got one, but I've never managed to get it to do much of anything. Anyone else?

  3. As for most lower-priced bass compression stompers a good setting could be as far away from your amp, bass and cables as possible... :)

Seriously, compressors work so closely (or should at least) with your playing that it's hard to give setting suggestions without knowing how hard you hit your strings, what sound you're after, what bass you play (active/passive) and so on...

What are the controls on the DOD pedal? Does it have an LED showing the input level?

THe controls are: Level, Sustain, and Compression.
I play pretty hard. I would like to get like a sloppy fleash sound from it.

I had a dod bass compressor, I sold it now want another one. I used it as a way to bring my volume up to the max but to keep the spikes from blowing any of my speakers. It did the job well.
