Dodgy VU Meter

Discussion in 'Amps and Cabs [BG]' started by Brown Shark, Mar 5, 2005.

  1. I have an Ashdown ABM 500 head, and for the past two years or so, the VU meter wont return to 0. When the amp is off or there is no signal going through, the needle sits at 1.5. Does anyone know why this might have happened or what I might be able to do to "reset" it? I have looked inside the head and the VU appears to be totally sealed.

  2. Contact Ashdown. I am sure they will replace it free of charge. :) :)
