Does anybody know what amp this is??

    I saw an amp that seemed to have about 16 (1x4) or (1x6) inch speakers. I think they were four across and four down in a cube shaped cab. I dont know what kind of bass tone it put out was so small, but it would be perfect as a practice amp. Anyone see such a thing?

    sounds like a phil jones bass enclosure.. thats a crazy expensive practice amp...

    Sounds like Phil Jones to me too. Actually, great sounding and loud for full gig volumes too!

    There are a couple of guys on TB who use these as stage rigs as well as some that have moved on. You might ping smperry (Marshall) as he uses one as his main playing rig. Also TB'er BigFatBass did play one for about a year before moving on...you might ask him about it and why he traded out on it.

    The majority, if not all of Phil Jones products uses 5" drivers.
     
  8. oh ok, I know some one that uses a 10 string bass on those and for small drivers sound amazing

    Imagine how big those cabs would be if those WERE 8" drivers... :)
     
  10. PJB is my main rig, the M500, 6T, and 9B, which are the first set of cabs shown in those pics posted above. They sound glorious.
