I saw this on ebay and was wondering if anyone knew anything about it or where it came from, thanks
here's another picture
Just a wild shot, but kind of has the old EKO vibe to me.EKO, Made in Italy 60's 70's ?? Just a wid guess
RED J is on the right track. That looks like it came out of the EKO factory.
It's a "VOX" (Made by Eko!).....
It is a Japanese bass, probably a Teisco, from the 60's.
The laminated neck, bridge cover and machines give it away.
It doesn't have a zero fret like the Eko and Vox basses did.
From the headstock I'd say a Tesico too, but the body gives it away as something else. Cool bass though. Teisco's (as far as I know with my infinite wisdom)don't have that style of pickup, though the vibe of the thing is really awesome. How much is/was it?
Teisco or Kent...
What ever it is, Killdar nailed it....
I think it's pretty cool. It looks like it was designed by an Italian space-man.
