Does anyone know anything about this bass?

    Just a wild shot, but kind of has the old EKO vibe to me.EKO, Made in Italy 60's 70's ?? Just a wid guess

    RED J is on the right track. That looks like it came out of the EKO factory.

    It's a "VOX" (Made by Eko!).....

    It is a Japanese bass, probably a Teisco, from the 60's.

    The laminated neck, bridge cover and machines give it away.

    It doesn't have a zero fret like the Eko and Vox basses did.

  8. From the headstock I'd say a Tesico too, but the body gives it away as something else. Cool bass though. Teisco's (as far as I know with my infinite wisdom)don't have that style of pickup, though the vibe of the thing is really awesome. How much is/was it?

    I think it's pretty cool. It looks like it was designed by an Italian space-man.
