    I use a $50 Behringer UB802 in my SWR
effects loop and it makes a great headphone amp...
and is very handy to have for other things.
    • Such as silently playing along to a CD, Tape, Record, etc...
      through headphones.
    • Recording your stuff through RCA outs or Phone Line Level outs.
    • Practicing vocals along with Recordings and Bass, 'cause now you have Mic preamps.
(through headphones, along with everything else).
    • Stereo or Mono Direct Unit
    • Got Stereo FX?
You can feed a stereo DI out to the mixer and feed your amp a uneffected mono signal.
    • Can be used as an FX blend.
    • Plug your Bass straight in and use it as a stand alone portable headphone unit for practice.
    • Blend your SWR Tube DI (set to Direct) with your
Line Level EQ'd FX Send. Then take the Monitor Out L
to the FX Return and the Mains Out to the PA mixer,
all the while having a hot Headphone Out.
*Never use Phantom Power with SWR DI out.*
    • Use it with your computer by hooking the tape-out to your soundcard 1/8" line-in (requires RCA to 1/8" adapter).
    • etc, etc...

I use SWR with Rackmount Stereo Multi Effects,
    Stereo Compressor, BBE Sonic Max.,
and use my UB802 to get a wicked Stereo Headphone mix.
