Does anyone know if a Windsurfing Board can be painted?

Discussion in 'Off Topic [BG]' started by XavierG, Aug 23, 2003.

  1. Bought an old one for the kids at a garage sale... the board is beat up pretty bad (scratches). I thought of painting it but am not sure if the paint will stick. It's an older model (original Windsurfer brand) board made of something that looks & feels like my white patio resin-chairs. Any ideas?

Someone should be able to paint it. It might need a little sanding, just to give the paint a texture to stick to. I had to do that with one of my surfboards before it was airbrushed. On a skimboard, since it's smaller, I just used paint markers to put graphics on it.
