From the headstock, which is reallt the only clear thing, it looks like the 5er of the Yamaha John Myung. I forget the proper name, RBX 705 i think.

i dont know about the bass, but Dean is a wonderful player - he was bassist with my favorite band of their time, Caldera- great, great band- Dean is also from Miami , where i am from, but i never met him- id be surprised if it was Yamaha Myung, tho.. and i remember him being a Fender guy- but thats no Fender.

This is definetily no Yamaha Myung simply because they don't produce a 5 string Myung bass (correct me if I'm wrong) I would guess it's a Fernandez

Check out how the edge of the headstock points up but not down as on the Yamaha and how the brand mark is from the nut on Dean's bass but from the 5th tuning peg on the Yamaha, also I'm not trying to be a smartass but this is not a John Myung signature bass on that picture.

    None.
hmm...the Fernandez Gravity is a smart lookin' instrument.

i remember playing a few at Mars music and thinking they were pretty respectable.

    and inexpensive too.

Kirby, you got to have your eyes checked, man. The curvature on the bottom part is all wrong, not to mention the position of the brand logo.

    This,

Is more like it, I think.
