Does anyone make a hybrid power amp?

Is there a stereo power amp that combines tube and solid state tech? I dont mean a tube pre-amp driving a solid state power amp. What I want is a low wattage power tube amp with its own transformer that outputs something like 5wpc into a solid state back end. This way you can get the sound of driven power tubes at any volume. Harmos makes something like this but its for guitars.
  2. The SWR Interstellar Overdrive would, I think, fit this description if you run it into a solid state power amp. It has a small power section in it which will work as a small practice amp, but is used to get fatter clean tones and overdriven tones too.
