Does it have the power scotty

    He im thinking of purchasing an EBS microbass preamp. I did some forum searching and now im confident...but i could find one answer ...can it drive a a power amp? Since im on the subject does it make a difference if you by a bass specific power amp vs a power amp if the amp a has 20-20k freq response. thanks for the help

    Most poweramps are specced to give full power at around 0dBV or 1V. The EBS manual gives it's output at -10dBV, so maybe. Depends on the amp, how close to full power you need to drive it and what the EBS sounds like at or a bit above it's rated output.

    Nope. Any decent poweramp will be fine. Lots of brands out there, and mentioned here: Crown, Crest, QSC, Yamaha etc.
