Does Rogaine work ?
um, i need to know this too... stat!
I think rogain may work well has a hair loss preventer, but that is about it. If you think you are going to start losing your hair, or your hair is starting to thin, then you may want to consider it. But does it regrow hair? I doubt it.
Didn't work for me, but I think we can all agree that I don't need hair to be sexy.
edit: looking at that picture, neither does my drummer.
"I am bald and important!"
I hope someone gets this.
It looks as if it worked great for me!
If any hair treatment worked, we wouldn't have people like this:
Just find a way to be sexy without hair. Years ago that would have been impossible, but these days it's trendy.
My ex-roommate uses it and it clearly slowed his hair loss down. But it's quite expensive, and it doesn't work that well for everyone.
my sister just got married to a guy who's entire family (not including the women) shave their heads because they started losing their hair at age 18. Its not a bad look... people will get used to it. I definately dig the shaved head + goatee look.... and i'm not just sucking up to the embellisher and james hart to get mod props
I have a friend who's 19 and has a receding hairline and thinning hair. Poor guy.
I'd say if you're going bald shave it off rather than trying to disguise it with the combover.
Ahh..shaved head and goatee. The mullet of the 2000's.
'nuff outa you curly! The white kid afro is the mullet of the 2000's
(says the bald guy w/ goatee that use to have a mullet )
Grass don't grow on no busy street, Major! Just be glad you've got an excess of testosterone and not a deficit...
- Slows down loss - yup
- Regrows some if you're just talking about a receding hairline - sometimes
- Regrows a chrome dome like mine - nope, ain't happening
[speaking from personal experience and loss of significant dollars in the process]
As for everyone saying, just shave your head:
Yeah, it sorta works for now, because some people think it looks good, but eventually, yup, it will go the way of the mullet and look really really bad.
[I'm allowed to say this - I'm extremely bald, and I could actually detect hair loss as early as when I was 15. If you think that blew, you would be correct.]
It can slow down and prevent hair loss, and possibly thicken/regrow a bit of thinning hair. The biggest downfall that it has, of course, is that once you stop using it the results disappear. And it's hella expensive to maintain.
How much does Rogaine cost ?
If you have to ask, you probably can't afford it.
