Does such a Fender exist?

I'm in the process of looking for a new bass, and I was wondering if there was any 5-string Fender with a natural wood finish, no pick guard, acitve 3-band EQ and 24 frets on a thin, quick neck; basically, the complete opposite of what most Fenders are. I know there are lots of great basses out there that fit that description, but I have the chance to get a Fender at dealer price, and I would like to do so if possible.

    Thanks in advance.

No, but they have the Custom Shop. Plan on waiting on it. They recently issued a Asian made Jazz Bass 24, (4 string), so it has been done. You would only need to specify your options. My understanding is 6 months or more for a custom.

They don't have what you're looking for in a Five string.

They have it mostly in a four.

Frankly, each thing listed is close but doesn't meet all criteria.

    Kinda sucky.

When dealing with Fender you really need to have the "Close Enough" attitude unless you want to wait 8 - 12 months for a Custom Shop.
