Does the VT-Bass do the regular Sansamp Tone?

Now this might be a bit of a backwards question, but can I use a VT-Bass to achieve the stereotypical tone of the BDDI etc? I'd really like to have that particular tone available but am very interested in the better SVT sounds of the VT.

If you are in the habit of using the BDDI with the Blend on maximum, I have found that you can come pretty durn close to it with the VT. Obviously if you use the BDDI with your dry signal blended in then the tone will vary with the amount of blend and the character of the input signal, and trying to duplicate it with the VT would be less likely, since it has no Blend control.
