i bought just a blank PJ body off of ebay and noticed that the P pickup holes are reversed from most ive seen. the top on is on the right and the bottom one is on the left. Im wondering if this will cause any problems when i try to put some pickups in?

It wont sound exactly like a Fender P due to pickup position differences, but it will still work and sound good.

does anyone know of someone that makes PJ basses with the reversed P that I can order a pickguard from?

  6. Ibanez does alot of reversed P's.

  7. I've played basses with the reversed P-pickup, and IMO they sounded really weak compared to the Fender layout.

They seem to work for Rocco Prestia.
