have really been looking at getting a 6er, not in the near future mind you.

The question I want ask is the following:

Does anyone make a Musican style pickup for a 6er?

The reason for this is because I want to give the Warwick custom guys a call to see if they can build a Streamer Jazzman 6er but still keeping the pickup configuration of the musicman style pickup at the bridge, I would be prepared to trade in the Jazz Style pickup at the neck for a Soapbar.

Seymour Duncan Bassline has made 7 & 8 string MM pickups over the years(John Turner has an 8 string one in one of his Conklins)so I'm sure a 6 string version would be a no brainer.

    Thanks.

I particularly like the MEC tone out of their MM Style Pups, now the tricky part see if they could do a custom order.

  5. Carvin does, but the string spacing is less than the 4 string standard of 19 mm. Dunno if that's a problem for you.

  6. +1. they do make good ones.. but the question is will it fit on ur bass.
