yea abnout the nuts that warwick uses for their basses

i want to know wich is the nut on the photo

the first model of the just a nut or the new nut the "just a nut 2"
  4. I'm seeing one nut and the first fret I don't like the angle the B string is hitting it at though

[edit]and I'm pretty sure the nut is brass[/edit]
  5. That's the old "good" one. The newer ones are made of plastic and aren't adjustable for individual strings. On the new ones, you can basically only raise/lower the nut as a whole.

    Hope this helps!

Edit: Just a quick note -- You can delete your other threads (the ones without the picture) by opening them, clicking edit/delete, checking the delete box, and hitting the delete button. If you don't do it, I'm sure a moderator will delete them eventually. Of course, you could always save them some work! :)
  6. looks like the first series of the brass just a nut by warwick. it is identical to my 86 thumb 4 banger. i believe the latter ones are a black color and may not be brass.

All older Warwicks have this adjustable brass nut, made by Wilkinson IIRC.
Most people prefer this one to the newer plastic nut.
