I have a Shure VHF wireless and the only thing that it does is that I have to turn up the volume a little bit, but other than that theres nothing that changes. Hope this helps.

i've heard (no experience) that they thin out the sound of a guitar and would think that more might be loss with the bass, however, i certainly don't think it would be exactly the same experience as wired.

It doesn't thin out the sound all that much, but if it does this can be taken care of with a little boost in the bass on the EQ.

Some units' frequency response only go down to about 100 Hz or so, then starts to roll off. So with them, you'll have less bass in the bass.
