    Topic says it all^^

  2. If you're a good pick player, a Warwick will sound good with a pick.

Every model Warwick sounds a little different though, there may be some models that naturally sound better picked than others. In my experience, the Jazzman models (Streamer, Fortress) sound especially thick and punchy when picked, but the natural midrange bump of basses like the through-neck Thumb don't lend themselves well to a big pick tone, they seem to shine better when played fingerstyle.

I think even the Thumb and the Corvette can sound good with pick. Just depends on what tone do you want... and what strings do you use.

The question is do you sound good with a pick?

Seriously, all the Warwicks I've played sounded killer with a pick.

    Meshuggah.

Their old bass player Gustaf, I think his name was, (there was also another bass player in the 90's, Pete), used a Dolphin NT with a pick on Chaosphere.

Take a listen to New Millenium Cyanide Christ. Sounds good!

    Can you handle 23/16?
