    Do you consider it rude if someone is walking their dog and he/she (the dog not the person) piddles in your lawn or on your shrubs?

    No.

    Leaving behind dog logs, however...

  4. c'mon! ALL kids love log!

    What rolls down stairs,
    alone or in pairs,
    rolls over your neighbor's dog

    what's great for a snack,
    and fits on your back
    it's log, log LOG!

    It's log, it's log
    It's big, it's heavy, it's wood!

    It's log, it's log
    It's better than bad, it's GOOD!

    When I walk my dog, I always bring a sponge. :rolleyes: ;)

    You gotta be kidding me. Ziegfried and Roy couldn't keep a dog from peeing when it wanted to. I guess you could always shoot them if they come into your yard though. ;)

    I'm not talking about poo. Of course you have to pick up poo! Only pee-pee.

    Whether it bothers the person or not is pretty much impossible to know but I do know that it REALLY irks some people and I think it's rude to leave it. I usually take along a plastic bag in my pocket to pick it up. It rarely happens with Roxie though.

    EDIT: Wow...I misread Phil Biker's post...I assumed he said he was only talking about poo but it was the opposite. Of COURSE you don't pick up pee! What kind of moron cares about a dog peeing in the edge of his yard?!

    Do you consider it rude when a dog leaves sterile water on your shrubs or lawn Philbiker?

    poo = bad
    pee = not as bad

    i got neighbors who let their dogs out at night .
    they seem to think my yard is an ideal place for taking a dump .
    i think i'll feed the little ankle biters to my great danes .... :bag:

    I know nothing of sterile water. What does this question mean? I was wondering if other people think it's rude when someone walks their dog and he piddles on their lawn or shrubs. Do you think it is?

  12. One has to ask, how would you clean that up, even if you wanted to?

    Suck it back up?
    Give the grass a good wipe down with Brawny?

  13. He was making mention of the fact that urine (human and animal) is about 99.9% sterile.

    Pure bleach is probably technically sterile as well. I sure as hell wouldn't want anyone spilling that on my lawn.

    Are there any other kinds of urine other than animal and human?

    I think the idea is that you shouldn't let the dog piddle there in the first place.

    Personally, I'd get a bigger dog and let it pee on his bushes. :D

  18. OK...where then? Sidewalk?

    Bleach cleans things to the point that they're nearly sterile, but it isn't sterile in the sense that I was referencing. Urine isn't that harmful to your lawn.

    BS... poo is good for your grass... for all i care you should pay owner of a dog for leaving poo on your lawn... grass will grow better...

    I'm not exactly sure about the answer to that.

    Apparently you're supposed to not let your dog piddle anywhere but on your own lawn or in a common area or park in the neighborhood. Is that normal?
