Or at least kept me out of a really dangerous situation.

At about 11:45 today I was going to go grocery shopping, but then I thought, "Maybe now is a good time to work on that psychology assignment that's due on Tuesday." Then I hit the books and two hours later I go grocery shopping. The store I go to was blocked off police and there were 3 different news station vans in the parking lot. Then I go over to the next store and about 30 minutes later I'm done shopping. When I get home I look up to see what was going on at the grocery store. Apparently a woman being approached about shoplifting shot up the place around noon. The only injury was the manager being grazed in the ear by a bullet.
  2. Odd...I have a similar experience but it was kind of opposite.

I didn't want to go to school, so I skipped a class then went home saying I felt sick, and turns out a crazy guy got into school and they had to lock everyone in their current class until 5.
  3. Wow...

*attacks the pile of homework on the desk*
  4. Damnit, now Im gonna do my homework
  5. Thank God for that, seriously! Homework is becoming so much more appealing suddenly.

The longer you live...and the more you see and experience...the more you begin to realize how large a part chance plays in your life.

Or how small a part chance plays in your life.

    Deep. Isn't it?

    Don't ya love college? ;)

In high school, you learn the skill of procrastination.

In college, you turn it into an art form :D:D

If you look at the flip side of it, if I got groceries when I was told to, I'd be in that messy situation.

OK, I have some homework that piled up all weekend. I will do it Monday afternoon, and see if it saves my life too.

  19. See, this is why I like working at a Sporting Goods store. The gun counter is right in front of the doors. So anyone who goes nuts can be "delt with" quickly.

Not that it would ever happen. By the time that the gun was unlocked, the trigger lock taken off and the gun loaded, it would probably be over. And I would probably be hugging dirt, not trying to return fire.

    But I think it's a good deterrent.

Well, maybe not. We found about 3 ounces of Meth out in the parking lot a few days ago. That made for a few fun minutes.

    Rock on
