Lol I just looked it up and I apologize for calling you stoned out of your mind.... apparently they are some sort of Canadian meatloaf gyro things.

 

I've skiied and rode motorcycles all over Canada and never heard of it. Maybe they're eaten in the warmer part of Canada

same sorta meat, different spices, lots of garlic. and the sauce is made out of condensed milk, sugar and vinegar. it is the most delicious food on the earth

 

But if the meat is the same surely it should still be a Donar? Just a different way of serving.

Actually we spell it Doner as well...I'm all confused.

well, its almost the same meat, but as i said different spices. It's just that theyre closer than lets say, a steak and a hamburger. they dont taste the same but they are the same meat. and yeeye i guess i shouldve said the maritimes. i think it is more common here tho, cause everytime ive went to new brunswick, ive been able to find one just not as easily.
