Met him tonight. He has been producing a band that I am very good friends with and he was over at their warehouse tonight "producing". It was very cool to see him doing that. I have never been in a band with an outside, third party source. So it was very interesting to see how producers and bands work.

That and I got to hear/see him play a tune. Don't know what tune it was, something off the cuff they were doing. He was using his Lakland Signature with flats of some kind. He sounded great. His left hand technique was very cool. He had his fingers bunched up and very close together in a cup sort of shape. He used his first finger for pretty much everything. I use all my fingers, so it was interesting to see that style.

He is funny as all get out though. Had a few good laughs.

Duck is one of my all time fav's and I've heard he's just the nicest guy. GLad to hear the stroies are true.

He uses LaBella Jamersons BTW. Atleast that's what LaBella told me :)
