I got a bunch of books in boxes, and they gotta go

    any ideas for donation?

or, would there be a bookstore that would buy them?

either way , they gotta go

  2. Honestly, your best bet is to take a look around for local charities that accept books, or usually most towns have at least 1 used book store that you can take them in to. I don't know the area where you are at all (obviously, haha), so you'd be best off asking some of your local friends and see if they, or anyone they know, knows the best route of action.

I take them to the Salvation Army here in my area.

See if your local library will take them too.

The biggest problem I have with books is that when they become outdated, most people tend to throw them out because it's far easier than finding a good use for them.
  5. Any bass books? If so, you can donate them to me.. :bassist:

If you can find an adult education facility where they teach illiterate adults to read, I bet you they would gladly take them.

    Our local library takes them.

They keep what they want, then they have a rack they sell
used hardcovers and paperbacks off of. Finally, they put the rest in the basement and do a big book sale fundraiser once
    a year.

I guess you could donate them to Goodwill
    or some other charity..
