Just a few that caught my attention lately
I really like the mockingbird shape. It's the only BC Rich bass I'd ever consider buying. I've already been through my pointy bass phase though.
These basses certainly won't change the mind of someone who doesn't like BC Rich, that much is for sure, lol.
Yeah the mockingbird bass is very nice. I've also always like their natural designs.
I like the Mockingbird.
Maybe they should create a halfway with basses like the Warlock and Widow.
Man, I would rock the snot out of that blue sparkle Mockingbird! Dual EMG P's? Hold me back Baby!
Forgot to post this one:
I dig the 8 string rich bich!
I have 3 BC Rich Warlocks. Best feeling basses I've ever played. I've played for 36 years and had Hamers, Gibsons, Fenders, Washburns...Played a Rick and it was sweet...Ibanez...and I can't remember them all over that time period, but my BC Rich Warlocks are without a doubt the fastest, most comfotable basses I have had. To those who said "ugly" try playing one. Give it a real try out. Remember, form follows function.
Always dug the Mockingbirds myself, but I love the Explorer/Thunderbird shape too, just never found one that had the tone I wanted/liked.
Yeah that Mockingbird looks fun, but I'd take a few eyes out on stage and the front row with that widow. Reminds me of Blackie Lawless from WASP... I WANNA BE SOMEBODY!!!!!!!
My personal fave is Dave Ellefson's BC Rich Mockingbird with the P-51 Mustang paint scheme.
I love Mockingbirds, but hate pretty much everything else.
I'd play one.
Me too. I like the early ones.
The Eagle was their coolest one that I liked.
The Mockingbird bass looks nice. However basses like the Warlock look too gimmicky and something like a 15 year old would want to be playing complete with costume and makeup. As one poster said he's been though that phase already.
There is something beautiful over the Mockingbirds, but I doubt I'll ever own one...
