    Hey guys!

I can play slap bass, perfectly well, but I'm trying to learn double thumping but the problem at the moment is that my wrist just isn't allowing it and it's uncomfortable. I normally slap the string from above the string which is worked fine but trying to allow my wrist and thump to slap through the string rather than above is just an awkward procedure; slightly demotivating.

Has anyone encounted this before? What was your approach to double thump?

    Cheers

a different position ... I was too bouncing of the string à la Flee but then ... that way just isn't working for that kind of stuff ... thumb parallel to the string going through then comin up with the nail. It is really easy to do. I just needed to see one vid and some practice to get it.
