Downloadable C++ compiler?

    This is truly interesting. Why on earth is it double-zipped? And in such odd formats?? A .tar within a .gz??? weirdness.
  6. Crap! I just realized something. This program is akin to having an unzip utility installer in the .zip format-you need a compiler to compile the compiler. Even weirder than the double-zip thingy.

    Does anyone know of any pre-compiled compilers?

    You could check out DJGPP on http://www.delorie.com. If you need an IDE (= integrated development environment), the one called RHIDE for DJGPP is pretty darn good and quite easy to work with.
