dr bass has a pretty good deal for finished 112 cans on reverb.

I know he has a dicey rep...but has anyone had experience with these pre-made ones?

How do you know they are "pre-made"?

My thought would be, given that rep, why would anyone WANT to do business with him? There's about a million reputable places to get a cabinet without patronizing the equivalent of a thief. IMHO of course :)

There's a lot of good 112 + tweeter cabinets on the used market, even here on TB classifieds.

What else should I look for in that price range used?

I haven’t had a rig in a while (there’s one at our practice space that i use) and I’m jumping back in for something small and portable.

C'mere for a second. I've got this garbage disposal - you can stick your hand in it. Don't worry, it doesn't work.

What do you expect to do with a 1x12?

    You can get a Fender 100w 1x12 combo, new for $299. Rumble™ 100

I have a 350 watt head and i just want a cab that i can use to grab and go to jam locally or play smaller gigs. And maybe it can live upstairs! I still have an old 1x15 in the basement that just lives there full time.

    Fender 100w 1x12 combo weighs 22lbs.

    Used Fender 200w combo 1x15 weighs 35 lbs, $300-$350.

The definition of "grab and go" has changed. Something to consider.

Most people posting after this ^^^^ probably don’t care and are going to give thier 2 cents anyway. This is the amps forum, after all. Now that disaster has been averted, you’re probably doing something wrong you didn’t even know you were doing and folks here are very eager to be the first to let you know what that thing is. Get used to it.
